Description and Requirements

As the Director, Solutions and Services Group, (SSG), International Sales Strategy & PMO, you will be a critical member of the SSG International Sales leadership team and report directly to our Senior Vice President & General Manager, SSG International Sales. This role will work closely to develop and implement the global sales strategy with a focus on the voice of the customer and crafting strategies for long-term sales growth. This role will oversee the Chief of Staff and Project Management Office to ensure all sales projects align with the Must-Win Battles and KPIs. This is a highly strategic and high-exposure position with regular interface with the SSG Offering GMs, SSG COO, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to support the implementation of these strategies.

As part of the SVP's ‘trusted counsel', the role requires strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies in collaboration with senior leadership. 

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on competitive and market data, providing valuable insights to drive strategic decisions and sales growth

  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive actions to inform strategy development

  • Understand and provide guidance on market penetration rates

  • Establish “footprint” data gathering on Global accounts and major commercial clients

  • Establish backlog, renewal and add on planning

Strategic Planning Governance:

  • Govern the strategic planning processes, including headcount planning, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Deep Dives, and Leadership Executive Committee (LEC) presentations.

  • Ensure alignment and consistency across all strategic planning activities.

  • Ensure that solutions or capabilities are launch ready for sales

Executive Communication:

  • Support and manage the creation of executive-level PowerPoint presentations to communicate and endorse strategic recommendations.

  • Present data-driven insights and strategies to senior leadership effectively

  • Identify key client executive strategies including global accounts and commercial clients

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Facilitate communication and alignment across team to support sales initiatives

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparent reporting of project status and outcomes

  • Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.

  • Cross business unit strategy and implementation aligned to voice of the client, including AI

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 15+ years of experience in sales strategy, planning, project management, or a related field.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Proven track record of leading and executing complex sales and capability initiatives internationally

  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create  and deliver compelling executive-level and customer presentations.

  • Experience in a high-exposure role, interfacing with senior leadership and cross-functional

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work in complex, multi regional and changing environment

The base salary range budgeted for this position in CA, CO, Jersey City - NJ, NV, Ithaca - NY, NYC, WA, is $200k - $250k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
