Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute gaming marketing tactics specifically tailored to retail and e-tail channel with a focus on gaming hardware
  • Lead impactful trade marketing initiatives for gaming hardware, ensuring successful implementation that increases brand visibility and product sales in competitive markets.
  • Organize and manage gaming events such as gaming tournaments, product showcases, and community-building activities to engage with the gaming community and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Design and implement Above-the-Line (ATL) campaigns across gaming-specific channels, ensuring targeted outreach and consistent brand messaging.
  • Drive social media marketing tactics to engage users, foster community interaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. sales, product managers, marketing operations) and external partners (e.g. retailers, etailers, Alliances) to ensure alignment and execution of all marketing campaigns
  • Manage and oversee the gaming marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation to maximize return on investment (ROI)
  • Measure and analyze marketing performance, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and ROI metrics, to assess the effectiveness of marketing tactics and recommend improvements 

Who are you:

  • Proven experience in gaming marketing, with a focus on both retail and e-tail channels. Agency background and PR is desirable. 
  • Strong background in trade marketing for gaming hardware and consumer products.
  • Expertise in organizing gaming events and creating community engagement strategies.
  • Experience managing ATL and digital campaigns across a variety of platforms, especially in the gaming industry.
  • Solid understanding of social media marketing and its role in driving engagement within the gaming community.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and report on marketing campaign performance using data and metrics.
  • Passionate about the latest technology trends.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously, staying organized and focused.
  • Proactive, with a self-starter mentality and strong initiative.
  • Results-driven, with a focus on efficient execution and achieving goals.
  • Expert in project and budget management, with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail; fluent in German and English, with strong presentation skills.
