  • Manage hardware engineering resources, project budgets (including NRE costs), and deliverables throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Drive project planning, execution, monitoring, and issue resolution to ensure on-time delivery.

BOM, Material Planning & Manufacturing Readiness

  • Own and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely release.
  • Coordinate material readiness and factory build planning to support engineering validation and production schedules.
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure build readiness, quality compliance, and timely product delivery.

Risk & Change Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks across hardware design, validation, and manufacturing phases.
  • Drive engineering change management (ECO/ECN), evaluating impacts on schedule, cost, quality, and product readiness.
  • Facilitate design reviews and ensure action plans are effectively executed to address technical and operational risks.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the primary liaison between Hardware Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Program Management teams.
  • Align stakeholders on priorities, dependencies, project milestones, and execution plans.
  • Foster effective collaboration across global teams and external partners to achieve project goals.

Project Reporting & Governance

  • Provide regular project updates, status reports, risk assessments, and executive-level communications.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure adherence to project management and engineering processes.
  • Escalate critical issues and drive resolution through appropriate governance channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5-9 years of project management experience supporting hardware, electronics, or product development programs.
  • Strong understanding of hardware development processes, including design, validation, manufacturing readiness, and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience in BOM management, material planning, supply chain coordination, and engineering change management (ECO/ECN).
