Job Description
These are your detailed responsibilities:
- Budget Preparation and Forecasting: Prepare detailed development budgets, including estimating costs for labor, materials, and other project-related expenses, and provide periodic updates to ensure project budgets remain on track.
- Cost Tracking and Analysis: Monitor, track, and analyze the financial aspects of development projects, ensuring that costs are aligned with budget forecasts and identifying any discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Generate and present comprehensive financial reports to project managers and senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing actionable insights on cost efficiency and potential savings.
- Cost Control and Risk Management: Identify cost overruns and potential financial risks within development projects and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and improve cost control measures.
- Costs Capitalization: Ensure that all eligible costs related to ongoing development projects are properly capitalized in accordance with applicable accounting standards and accurately reflected in financial statements
- Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and business operations to support financial decision-making, ensuring that financial goals are met while adhering to project timelines and approved budgets.
What you’ll bring/ Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong modelling skills in Excel, Power BI and/or Anaplan.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- More than 3 years working experience
- Fluent English in both speaking and writing. as you will be working in a multinational environment and communicating with global teams.
