Description and Requirements
Position Overview
Assist in maintaining corporate IT infrastructure and end-user systems while performing basic operational tasks under engineers' guidance. This role provides structured training and serves as an ideal entry point into IT for candidates with minimal experience. This role also support Operation and maintenance of application-development platforms—including Earth Platform, Lenovo MicroService Platform (LMP), and DevOps Platform—as well as xCloud service platforms such as xCloud Service Console and Automation Working Platform (AWP). Responsibilities cover service-request handling, daily inspections, alert and monitoring triage, incident resolution, change management, configuration management, and service reporting. Receive work orders, e-mails, or instant messages from IT users, BU users, the monitoring center, and Level 2 teams; respond via e-mail or message, create tickets, and manage the full ticket life cycle—response, update, escalation, and closure.
Core Responsibilities
1. Desktop Support
o Troubleshoot hardware/software issues for employee devices (PCs/printers/video conferencing)
o Deploy OS and office software (Windows/macOS/Office)
o Manage user accounts and permissions (basic AD operations)
2. System Monitoring
o Perform basic status checks for servers/network devices (CPU/memory/disk)
o Document monitoring alerts and escalate anomalies
o Maintain IT asset inventory (devices/IPs/software licenses)
3. Operational Assistance
o Support engineers in patch deployment and backup operations
o Organize technical documentation and knowledge base (SOPs/FAQs)
o Manage IT consumables stock (cables/adapters/accessories)
4. Earth Platform, Lenovo MicroService Platform (LMP), and DevOps Platform Operation
o Ensure the stable operation of the company’s Kubernetes clusters and be able to quickly locate and resolve production issues.
o Maintain and upgrade Kubernetes core components to improve the stability and operational efficiency of large-scale container clusters.
o Maintain and optimize services in the Kubernetes ecosystem, including container networking, image management, and observability.
o Provide day-to-day business support and on-call duty to guarantee service availability and user experience.
Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronics or related discipline
• Proficient in basic Windows troubleshooting (BSOD/network connectivity/driver installation)
• Understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals (IP/subnet/DNS)
• Ability to interpret English technical interfaces (system prompts/error codes)
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and architecture; hands-on experience in optimizing and troubleshooting specific components.
• Familiar with Docker/container and underlying OS technologies (container networking, cgroups, CFS, etc.).
• Automation mindset; able to automate operations with Python, Shell, or Golang.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; good at summarizing and writing technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
• Candidates with Fluent Mandarin speaking are preferred.
• Hands-on PC hardware assembly experience
• CompTIA A+ or ITIL V4 Foundation certification
• Basic scripting skills (Batch/PowerShell)
• Proactive service mindset
