Description and Requirements

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Industrial Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will apply engineering principles to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and improve quality within our operations. This role will focus on analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to streamline production and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Analysis & Improvement:
    • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and safety.
    • Develop and implement methods to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall process flow.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead projects aimed at process optimization, including planning, execution, and monitoring progress.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all engineering projects.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Utilize statistical tools and data analysis techniques to evaluate performance metrics and drive decision-making.
    • Conduct time studies and work measurement analyses to establish baseline performance standards.
  • Lean Manufacturing:
    • Implement lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to streamline operations and eliminate non-value-added activities.
    • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and train staff on lean practices.
  • Design & Layout Optimization:
    • Design and optimize facility layouts and workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize bottlenecks.
    • Assist in the selection and implementation of new equipment and technologies.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Create and maintain documentation for processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
    • Prepare regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives for management review.
    • To communicate findings and recommendations to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering role.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software and tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of CAD software (like, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc) and production planning tools is a plus.
