L2 Oracle EBS Suite Production Team Lead Job Description

Job Title: L2 Oracle EBS Suite Production Team Lead

Location: Ortigas, Pasig

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports to: IT Operations Project Manager

Job Summary:

The L2 Oracle EBS Suite Production Team Lead is responsible for providing second-level technical support for Oracle Application, OID and Database servers. The role involves, managing and mentoring resources, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues, performing regular system maintenance, and ensuring the stability and performance of the systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management:
    • Monitor Oracle EBS Application, OID, and Database server performance.
    • Respond to and resolve incidents escalated from L1 support within SLA timeframes.
    • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
  • System Maintenance:
    • Apply configuration changes to optimize performance and security.
    • Ensure systems are compliant with security policies and procedures.
  • Application Support:
    • Support applications, OID including debugging and modifying code as necessary.
    • Ensure seamless integration of applications with other systems.
    • Automate routine tasks using shell scripting or other automation tools.
    • Monitor system logs and address hardware or software issues.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Monitor system and application performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
    • Analyze performance trends and recommend optimizations.
    • Implement and maintain monitoring tools and scripts.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with offshore client and support.
    • Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during non-business hours as required.
  • Documentation:
    • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and standard operating procedures.
    • Document changes and update configuration management records.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle EBS Suite production support or related roles.
    • Experience with Oracle databases (e.g., Oracle 19C) and Unix-based batch programs/scripts.
  • Technical Skills:

Must Have:

  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, BI Publisher, Workflow , Reports, and Forms.
  • Strong knowledge of Unix shell scripting.
  • Must have minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle EBS Application Technical and Functional in Oracle modules – Financials (AR, AP, GL, Fixed Assets)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience on configuring Weblogic, LDAP, Oracle Application and OID Patching (ADOP, OPatch, etc).

Good to have:

  • Knowledge of SOAP UI, POSTMAN, and Netbeans.
    • Technical consulting experience in client is an added advantage.
    • Experience in JAVA, ISG (Integrated SOA Gateway) or SOAP/Restful Web Services and OAF is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Communicating with end users by email and Whatsapp directly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Configuration and monitoring of application, OID and databases to ensure backups, availability and performance are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Configuration,  patching, cloning, performance monitoring and optimization of the Oracle EBS Applications on 19c Databases.
  • Provide support for E-Business Suite (R12.2.10/R12.2), Application Server, WebLogic, etc.
  • Skilled problem-solving capabilities with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
  • Experience with EBS Integration with Single Sign On (SSO) and LDAP.

  • Willing to work during PH holidays and non-office hours
