Description and Requirements



Job Summary:
As a Microsoft CSP (Cloud Service Provider) Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in positioning Lenovo as a leader in cloud subscription services. Leveraging your extensive experience in sales, consulting, negotiation, and customer success, you will deliver innovative solutions that integrate seamlessly with Lenovo’s PC and enterprise offerings. This role requires a strategic mindset, deep expertise in Microsoft licensing, and a proactive approach to identifying and closing opportunities independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Microsoft Licensing Sales:
    • Resell Microsoft licensing in the CSP model through both direct and indirect routes.
    • Promote and close service-based businesses arising from license sales (e.g., migration, management, configuration).
  • Account Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with accounts, including mid-market, global, enterprise, and government sectors.
    • Independently identify, develop, and close sales opportunities without reliance on external teams.
    • Support Lenovo’s Global, Relational, and SMB segment teams to uncover and develop leads.
  • Customer Success:
    • Provide excellent customer service to grow existing accounts and develop new business opportunities.
    • Effectively manage opportunity pipelines using CRM tools to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with Lenovo’s internal sales, operations, and management teams to ensure seamless delivery and support of solutions.
    • Deliver training and enablement to Lenovo account managers to help them identify and pursue new leads.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Ecosystem:
    • Utilize in-depth knowledge of Microsoft CSP licensing and Enterprise Agreement contracts.
    • Apply cybersecurity knowledge in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Purview, Sentinel, Managed XDR).
    • Demonstrate expertise as a certified Microsoft business partner or through prior work at Microsoft.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of proven success in sales, consulting, negotiation, and customer success, specifically in Microsoft CSP licensing.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Deep understanding of Microsoft CSP and Enterprise Agreement licensing.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft cybersecurity solutions.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Languages: Medium to high proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • CRM Expertise: Strong command of CRM tools for opportunity tracking and pipeline management.
  • Customer Focus: Exceptional ability to build relationships and deliver superior customer service.
  • Independent and Collaborative Work: Ability to work autonomously to close deals while collaborating effectively with Lenovo teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working at Microsoft or as a certified Microsoft business partner.
  • Familiarity with managing accounts in various sectors, including government and enterprise.
