Description and Requirements
As Lenovo International Multi-Vendor Services Delivery Manger (MVS SDM) you will have the opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to our delivery, sales and client teams. The MVS SDM is a global role that works with our Geo Services Delivery teams to ensure we continue to provide excellent service to our customers. The MVS SDM will act as a central focal to drive our Business Management Systems (BMS) with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers to manage the delivery of Lenovo’s International Multi-Vendor Services Offerings. This person also focuses on end to end processes to ensure Lenovo’s delivery teams are providing world class support.
Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly BMS around MVS Service Delivery
- Identify, drive and track MVS Service Delivery improvements
- Partner with internal delivery teams and external suppliers to recognize trends, improve performance, lead continuous improvement activities
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 + years’ experience in IT, Customer Service, Field Tech, or Account Management
- Multi-Vendor Service Delivery experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vendor Management
- Field delivery with a mixed Server / Storage / Networking environment (Dell, HPE, Cisco, EMC…etc)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - ability to effectively interact and communicate with senior executives, customer technical and management teams.
- Ability to participate and manage War Rooms when critical issues have been experienced, professional customer communication proficiency is key.
- General understanding of and technical competence in Data Center technologies, specifically storage solutions.
