Description and Requirements

Responsibilities :

Import the parts / FG , Customs clearance operations , domestic movement

Manager the Local Vendor, customs broker, Forwarder and internal team for driving the Inbound operations

 

Responsible for tracking the Parts movement from Supplier to Contract Manufacture.

Track & follow-up with Mot planning / Capacity alignment with Forwarders.

Provide relevant daily update and analysis to the Production / Planning team on the deliveries and exceptions.

Take responsibility for the success or failure of material delivery schedule.

Responsible for troubleshooting any concern related to transportation & customs clearance.

Monitor shipment clearance and delivery, ensure customer satisfaction.

Co-ordinate with Planning teams in case of damages or exceptions raised during delivery of products.

Responsible for utilizing logistics IT systems or software to optimize procedures.

Responsible for maintaining accurate reports of all transport & clearance of shipments done by CM.

Knowledge on BIS for products

Process / Procedures of Import Duty exceptions.

Domestic GST Tax knowledge

Capable of handling the challenges in Customs in terms of Customs Tariff Code & valuation.
