Description and Requirements
I. Key Responsibilities:
1. Display/Monitor product development and management:
o Provide project management and execution to meet global launch target requirements, focus on product development for local build and trail run, project on-time delivery, and innovation.
o Support monitor product development, including participating in the design and implementation of specific functions and user scenarios.
2. Design system architecture:
o Be able to work out system design architecture, review specifications, and verify design solutions.
o Solve technical issues and find the best industry solutions for key technical challenges. Continuously innovate and develop new features and user scenarios.
3. Display related technology/solution sourcing and qualification:
o Own Monitor technical responsibility and provide technical solution proposals and support throughout the product life cycle.
4. Supplier collaboration:
o Work with ODM suppliers on daily project development and technical support, acting as the technical interface for suppliers.
o Play a crucial role in the development of products for overseas production projects. This includes collaborating with international teams to understand local market requirements, ensuring that product specifications are tailored to meet these needs, and driving innovation to stay competitive in global markets.
o Provide extensive onsite support for overseas production sites. This involves traveling to different locations as needed to troubleshoot issues, coordinate with local staff, and ensure smooth production processes. Be responsible for overseeing quality control, resolving technical glitches, and facilitating communication between different stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
5. Development process management:
o Develop and maintain development processes, quickly respond to worldwide regulations and standard requirements.
6. New technology integration:
o Work with cross-functional teams, ODM suppliers, and industry players to develop new technical solutions by leveraging current and new technologies.
o Provide technical assessments and inputs to the product portfolio roadmap.
7. Assist in management and reporting:
o Assist the manager in daily process management and Innovation BMS management and reporting.
II. Requirements:
1. Education:
o Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Computer/Display/TV/Cellphone engineering or project management related fields.
2. Experience:
o At least 2 years of Display R&D experience and be able to conduct continuous improvement and innovation.
o At least 2 years of worldwide product development project management experience.
3. Skills:
o Proficient in using MS office software (PowerPoint, excel…) to make reports with clear logic and mindset, with strong presentation and communication skills.
o Proficient in English skills including writing, oral communication, and presenting.
o Be able to manage various development projects simultaneously, be flexible at work, and have a strong sense of teamwork and putting the company first.
