Job Summary:
The Project Manager, GTAP One Lenovo Transformation is responsible for driving and coordinating the business initiatives to support the One Lenovo strategy in the Greater Asia Pacific (GTAP) Region. This role will work closely with the GTAP Chief Operating Officer (COO) to ensure the right scope of work and execution for this critical business transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan to track all business transformation initiatives and interdependencies for the One Lenovo strategy and execution progress in GTAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Markets General Manager and segment leads, Regional teams, and corporate functions, to align on objectives, timelines, and resource requirements
- Monitor progress against plan, identify risks and issues, and drive timely resolution through effective escalation and mitigation strategies
- Facilitate regular project reviews with the COO and GTAP leadership team to provide status updates, highlight barriers, and recommend course corrections
- Establish robust tracking and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability across the transformation program
- Drive effective change management by engaging with impacted teams, communicating progress, and championing the One Lenovo vision
- Optimize resource allocation and utilization to deliver the transformation objectives within budget and timeline constraints
- Continuously evaluate the transformation roadmap and recommend adjustments based on evolving business needs and market dynamics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in project/program management, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of business operations, IT systems, and change management principles
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Waterfall)
- Experience working in a global, matrix organizational structure
- Familiarity with the GTAP region's business landscape and cultural nuances
