Description and Requirements
We’re looking for an ISG (Infrastructure & Solutions Group) Partner Account Manager to join our award-winning Channel Sales Organisation. You will be responsible for building and increasing the ISG revenue streams across some of Lenovo’s largest Platinum partners in the UKI. You will be instrumental for ensuring we meet the mutually agreed targets and drive to overachieve these. You will be ensuring that excellent relationships are formed between both organisations and across the different teams internally and externally and at all levels to drive the increase share of wallet across the ISG in the partners.
Experience growing a partner, how to position datacenter solutions and leverage competitive positions in products, solutions and software applications is a pre-requisite. Sales experience, relationship building, coupled with a deep understanding of account management is also essential.
This is a fixed term contract for 1 year.
What are your detailed responsibilities?
- Deep understanding of the business partner and its short-, mid- and long-term datacenter strategy.
- Joint Business Plan ownership on ISG working with the lead Partner Account Manager – working with the partner and different Lenovo business units to align on mutually agreed growth initiatives to benefit the partner and Lenovo in terms of revenue of profit. Execution and continuous development of the plan to ensure Lenovo is maximising its share within the partner.
- Management and execution of the ISG pipeline. Identify opportunities to enhance Lenovo’s 360 strategy. Identify areas for incremental growth and co-ordinate pipeline generation activities in the partner.
- Weekly, bi-weekly and quarterly forecasting ownership for the partners relating to ISG.
- Ensure the partners are enabled – create and execute an enablement plan to ensure the partner is equipped to position Lenovo over and above its competition across the business-critical units (IDG, ISG, SSG).
- Build and improve key business partner stakeholder relationships across sales, pre-sales, commercial, marketing and senior leadership within the partners.
- Ensure key Lenovo stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the JBP and peer to peer relationships are built between the organisations.
- Maintain a high level of market and datacenter industry knowledge and offer business feedback to maximise opportunities in the partner.
What are the requirements?
- Experience in Sales, Partner Account Management, Business Development and excellent sales led approach
- 5+ years’ experience in a Channel Sales Role ideally within the datacenter industry with evidence of meeting and exceeding targets
- Complete understanding of a Channel Sales Model
- Superior problem solving & analytical skills, metric driven with strong business acumen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer presentation skills both face to face and online
- Proven track record in hitting quota and overachieving month over month
