Job Description:

This position is in world-wide OS Enablement team, SW & Solution Group of ISG Product Development in Lenovo. Lenovo Preload Enablement team is responsible for developing MS Windows and VMWare OSes preload images on Lenovo's x86 server products. We expect our Preload software engineers to engage with multiple partners, other Lenovo team and participate in the full enablement process for x86 server products from concept, plan, develop, quality, launch to life cycle management.

Responsibilities:
•   MFG pre-installation technical involvement and find solution for related issues as well as co-work with internal or cross team for issues with our x86 servers;
•   Ability to collaborating and communicating with worldwide team, presenting and providing reports;
•   Working with Product Assurance team to achieve product quality on troubleshooting/debugging product issues related to Preload;
•   Writing and executing test plans and test cases for preload enablement;
•   Analyzing design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution;
•   Abilities to improve existing processes and work self-motivation.

Requirements:
•   Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer programming, or similar.
•   Experience on Windows batch, powershell & Linux shell script.
•   Strong analytical ability and debugging skills.
•   Great organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
•   Ability to assemble and troubleshoot server class hardware
•   Good communication skill. Ability to work with multiple functions.

•   Willing to share information and expertise with individuals and teams to enhance effectiveness.
•   Experience on Python.
