Description and Requirements

This role sits within Lenovo’s In‑House Design organization at the Taiwan Design Center, which functions as a strategic hub for end‑to‑end product design, validation, and customer quality ownership. aiwan Design Center drives architecture definition, design validation strategy, and cross‑functional alignment from early concept through post‑silicon and system bring‑up.

The main responsibilities include

  • Depth and breadth of technical knowledge and experience to cut across functional design validation (Development) and system design validation (Test)
  • Setting strategy and being accountable for both functional and system level validation plans/results
  • Leading the new functional and system co-validation with Intel will require innovation and leadership

The nature of the position to cut across all Design Validation is strategic for In House Design Customer Quality, so by nature the overwhelming majority of the person’s role will be strategic even when working on products currently under development.

The ratio to be the following:

  • Strategic:  60% - 70%
  • Tactical: 20% - 30%
  • Operational:  10%
