Description and Requirements

Employer: Lenovo Japan, LLC
Work location: Minatomirai (Kanagawa)
Smoking: Not allowed in the office, but smoking space is in B1 floor of Minatomirai center building
Employment condition: Permanent Staff (Probation period: 6 months)
# of hirings: 1HC
Expected salary: Depending on the current salary and experience, we would make our decision
Overtime allowance: Discretionary sub-chief (B6) allowance will be applicable
Working hours:  9:00-17:45 (Rest time: 1 hour (12:00-13:00)) 
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, year-end holiday, established anniversary day, special holiday, and compensatory holiday

■ Roles and responsibilities
Project management of New Product development in Development organization. 
Leading Product development as Project manager, and assist other Project managers.
   1. New product development project management
  • Schedule management 
  • Stakeholder management 
  • Cost management and Development expense management 
  • Plan change request management 
  • BoM (Bill of Material) management 

   2. Meeting management
   3. Communicating with external partner and supplier  
   4. Communicating with Internal global project team
       Products scope
  • Notebook PC (Personal Computer) 
  • Notebook PC Docking station 

      Leading cross products project
  • ESG (Environmental Social Governance) requirement management
  • Cross products Plan change request management 

■Key Interaction with:
  • Internal project team members in Global locations , Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, Service, Cost, etc 
  • Stakeholders in development organization, located in Japan, China, US
  • Development partners and Suppliers 

◇Requirements◇
■Must Have – essential
【Experience】
One of the following experiences
  • 1+ year of experiences in development of Hardware or Sortware products. (Not limited to PC related products)
  • 1+ year of project management experiences

【Skill, Competency】
  • Excellent Communication skill
    • Japanese: Fluent
    • English: Business level
  • Knowledge or interests of IT/PC industries and technologies
  • Presentation skill
  • Negotiation skill

■Good to have - desirable
  • PC development experiences (HW or SW)
  • IT knowledge 
  • Communication skill in Chinese
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent skill
■Typical Candidate
  • Experience in PC, Smartphone, or Electrical device companies, and their partners.
