Description and Requirements


Lenovo Professional Services Latin America is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead customer-facing engagements focused on planning, coordinating, and delivering IT infrastructure and virtualization projects.

Job Summary

As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in driving successful project outcomes within a dynamic and growing professional services organization. You will manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and Execution
    • Define project scope, schedule, and budget.
    • Develop detailed plans (WBS, timelines, milestones).
    • Coordinate internal and external resources.
  • Risk and Change Management
    • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
    • Manage change requests and assess their impact on the project.
  • Monitoring and Control
    • Track KPIs, costs, and progress.
    • Prepare periodic reports for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Communication
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams.
    • Facilitate follow-up meetings and project committees.
  • Project Closure
    • Validate deliverables and ensure complete documentation.
    • Conduct lessons learned and prepare final reports.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, IT, or related fields.
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years managing complex projects in corporate environments.
  • Languages: Advanced English (spoken and written).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
    • Traditional and Agile methodologies.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Leadership, negotiation, and conflict management.
    • Effective communication and results orientation.
