Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Support product reliability activities throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept and design through development, manufacturing, field operation, and return analysis.
  • Assist in implementing Design for Reliability (DFR) methodologies and tools in accordance with the Reliability Program Plan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality and reliability metrics for new product development programs.
  • Participate in product validation, qualification testing, and reliability growth activities to ensure products meet performance and quality requirements.
  • Support the execution of Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) activities and reliability assessments for new product introductions.
  • Assist in facilitating Design FMEA (DFMEA) and Process FMEA (PFMEA) sessions to identify risks and improve product and process robustness.
  • Conduct failure analysis and support root cause investigations for issues identified during testing and field operation.
  • Work closely with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, Supplier Quality, and Service Engineering teams to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze reliability data using statistical methods, including Weibull analysis and life data analysis techniques.
  • Support laboratory testing, sample qualification, data collection, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with quality and reliability requirements.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of Reliability Engineering concepts, DFR, DFMEA, PFMEA, or Failure Analysis.
  • Familiarity with statistical software such as Minitab, JMP, or equivalent.
  • Internship, academic project, or laboratory experience related to product testing, quality, or reliability engineering.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and product development lifecycle.
