Description and Requirements

■About the organization and team
• Motorola Mobility Japan is responsible for the all mobile device business( smartphone, tablet, chromebook, PC, etc.) in Japan market. The team is closely working with Asia Pacific HQ in India.
• The products are delivered through mobile network operators (MNO) and retailers.
• Total team members are around 25 members.

■Job Objective
• This role would be responsible for end-to-end marketing for the Motorola brand across phone and non-phone business in JAPAN.

■Job Description
• End to End Marketing Campaign Planning for JAPAN’s product and brand campaigns.
• Marketing communication planning, development and localization.
• Drive paid media through - Media planning, execution and optimization for all product lines on all relevant channels. 
• Develop and execute corporate communication and product PR to drive earned media consistently.
• Lead influencer campaigns to build consideration and purchase intent for the brand and products.
• Lead end to end retail marketing.
• Plan and execute events for new launches and/or tentpole moments for the brand. 
• Lead marketing discussions and plans with MNOs and Retail partners to maximise co-marketing initiatives and drive higher SOV through partner channels and investments.
• Think innovatively to drive higher share of voice (SOV) with lesser share of expense (SOE)
• Maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels, measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals.
• CRM and own media management (website, social platforms etc.) 
• Develop and monitor campaign budgets.
• Management and coordination with all relevant internal (Finance, SCM, eCom, Product - Japan and global) and external stakeholders (Media agency, creative agency, PR agency, ecommerce partner)
• Drive and deliver on brand and marketing metrics (search, awareness, consideration, Preference) that enable and result in driving the business metrics for the region (Profitable and rapid revenue growth)
• Drive, Track, Monitor and report consumer insights through consumer research, consumer reviews/comments (Social and eCommerce) and Sentiment (Social)
• Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners to ensure brand deliverables.

■Requirement
Must Have – essential
• 10+ years of marketing experience in a smartphone or consumer electronic, consumer goods Industry 
• Very strong experience of marketing communication development and media planning/buying across digital and Traditional media.
• Very Strong experience of branding
• Strong experience of working with retail & MNO partners
• Experience of working with a team and delivering results in a fast-paced setting 
• Strong communication skills 
• Self-starter even in ambiguous circumstances
• Strong commitment for business
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Native Japanese skill with English Fluency

• Experience of product marketing, consumer
• Experience of managing CRM and own media research and PR 
• Knowledge about mobile industry
• Full time MBA
