Description and Requirements

The Production Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing all production activities during their assigned shift to ensure smooth operations, adherence to production schedules, and achievement of quality and safety standards. This role involves leading and developing a team of operators and technicians, ensuring efficient use of resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment, with 2+ year in a leadership role.
    • Proven track record of leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced setting.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of production and manufacturing processes.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Problem Solving
    • Process Improvement and Lean Manufacturing
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Leadership and Team Building: Ability to inspire, guide, and motivate a diverse team to achieve common goals.
