Job Description

These are your detailed responsibilities:

• Assist the tax manager in overall Indirect Tax and Direct Tax related matters which includes:

• Overseeing the accuracy of compliances
• Assisting in tax law interpretation and research for advising the business on complex transactions
• Responding notices from tax department including data collation and end to end management of audits / assessments.
• Assisting in preparation of appeals and representations before tax authorities / appellate forums for tax litigations
• Providing tax account reconciliations for closure of statutory audits.
• Preparation of documentations for GST refund applications and representing before tax authorities for hearings

What you’ll bring/ Position Requirements:

• Knowledge of Indian GST Law, Indian Income-tax Law, Transfer Pricing law.
• Experience in statutory Compliances of all Direct and Indirect Tax matters
• Experience in handling Audit, Assessments & Litigations under GST law
• Experience in providing tax advice on business transactions
• Good knowledge on broader accounting and finance domain
• Experience in cross functional stakeholder management
• Experience in review & reconciliation and internal and statutory reporting of tax numbers
