Description and Requirements

Job Title: Senior Social Media Specialist 

Location: Hong Kong 

Job Description: 

We are seeking a skilled Senior Social Media Specialist with at least 5 years of professional experience to lead the development and execution of a robust social media strategy that builds brand awareness, executive profiles, and thought leadership for Lenovo’s Solutions and Services Group (SSG). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, analytics, and creative storytelling to engage B2B audiences effectively. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Social Media Strategy & Management: 

  • Develop, execute, and optimize a comprehensive global social media strategy across platforms (primarily LinkedIn, but possibly X, YouTube, and others) to increase brand visibility and audience engagement. 

  • Manage the profiling of key SSG C-suite executives on relevant platforms, ensuring their voices contribute to thought leadership. 

  • Create content calendars, campaign plans, and editorial strategies aligned with business objectives. 

  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, conversions) to refine strategies and maximize ROI. 

Content Development & Curation: 

  • Produce platform-specific, visually compelling, and engaging content (posts, videos, graphics, etc.) tailored for B2B audiences. 

  • Ensure brand consistency and accurate messaging across all social media platforms. 

  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to bring innovative ideas into content plans. 

Community Management & Engagement: 

  • Oversee real-time engagement and interactions with audiences, responding promptly and professionally. 

  • Identify opportunities to build and engage with online communities, industry forums, and social listening to amplify SSG’s brand and voice. 

Analytics & Reporting: 

  • Use analytics tools to monitor and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvements. 

  • Develop reports to highlight achievements, trends, and areas for optimization. 

Cross-functional Collaboration: 

  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders, including PR, marketing, and senior leadership, to align social media activities with broader communication and business strategies. 

  • Support key product launches, events, and campaigns with coordinated social media efforts. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of social media management experience, preferably in a B2B/enterprise tech environment. 

  • Proven expertise in creating and managing content across social platforms (LinkedIn, X, YouTube, etc.). 

  • Strong understanding of social media metrics, analytics tools, and performance optimization strategies. 

  • Proficiency in design tools and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva). 

  • Highly proficient in English. 

  • Exceptional written communication skills, with a talent for crafting concise, engaging social media copy. 

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, global environment. 

  • Creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics, storytelling, and innovation. 

  • Team player with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
