Description and Requirements

Overview: 
Seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits takent with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience to lead strategy implementation for the Asia Pacific (AP) region. Responsible for designing and implementing competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract, motivate, and retain top talent across AP.

Tokyo, Japan

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement AP compensation and benefits strategy aligned with global objectives.
  • Manage relationships with benefits brokers and ensure effective benefits program administration.
  • Provide expert compensation consultancy covering all employees in AP countries.
  • Ensure the timely and effective rollout of global compensation and benefits programs within AP.
  • Interface with HR Partners, Geo leaders, and business managers on compensation and benefits matters.
  • Conduct market trend analysis and recommend total rewards strategy changes.
  • Develop and maintain salary structures and compensation guidelines.
  • Lead Rewards CoE for AP, collaborating with global teams.
  • Plan and execute rewards priorities for AP and lead compensation projects.
  • Serve as employee well-being leader for AP.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Minimum of 10 years of Human Resources Compensation and Benefits management experience in MNC (Multinational Corporation)
  • Preferred to have more than 3 years of experience in AP compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Native Japanese with fluent English conversation skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Certification in Compensation and Benefits (e.g., CCP, CBP) preferred.
