Description and Requirements

As a Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Sr. Sales Engineer for Lenovo, you will be a part of a fast-paced, high-profile team helping to define what’s next. We are seeking an experienced engineer to support our CSP datacenter customers and drive sales of our products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in datacenter infrastructure and a proven history of success in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Lenovo Account Executives, Field Application Engineers & Inside Sales Reps supplying technical opportunity management
  • Help design and work with engineering to size custom product changes and configurations
  • Work closely with our engineering teams to develop & deliver customized customer solutions
  • Architecting solutions for the Data Center from the Lenovo portfolio of products and partnerships
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and developments in the hyperscale datacenter market
  • Perform training and education to customers on our products and services
  • Develop deep technical relationships with our customers to serve as a trusted consultant
  • Assist the Sales team in developing a sales strategy for winning new accounts
  • Achieve revenue and profitability goals for Lenovo by driving sales with key customers


Basic Requirements:

  • BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant experience
  • 7+ years of successful technology sales required

Preferred Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving, project management and analytical abilities
  • Deep knowledge of x86 computing technology trends
  • Strong understanding of datacenter infrastructure, including networking, storage, & computing
  • Proven ability to develop strategies to penetrate and sell to large companies
  • Demonstrated history of top performance with million-dollar quotas
