This position is to work as an Staff Researcher in a team of PC Innovation and Ecosystem (PCIE) Lab.

We are looking for a candidate with certain skills and enthusiasm to join our research and development team as an AI OS Researcher. In this role, you will be responsible for developing OS-related modules to support the implementation of AI applications and provide users with a better AI application experience. This position requires a basic understanding of AI algorithms and OS architecture, as well as an interest in exploring how to integrate them to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency to a certain extent.

Role and Responsibility

• Technical Expertise
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of OS architecture.
  • Develop OS-related modules for AI applications, leveraging skills in programming languages and container technologies.
• Problem Solving
  • Analyze and solve complex issues to optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency of AI systems integrated with the OS.
  • Troubleshoot and debug problems during development and deployment.
• Collaboration and Innovation
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Continuously explore new technologies and propose innovative ideas to enhance AI OS.

Requirements

Experience

• Master’s degree in computer/information science, electronics engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years’ R&D experience in operating systems, familiar with mainstream OS architectures. experience in AI algorithms or AI application development is prefered.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, etc., with good programming habits and code specifications.
• Good teamwork spirit and communication skills. Experience of collaborating with other researchers or engineers in a global work environment is prefered.

Skill, Competency

• Strong problem-solving skills, able to think independently and propose solutions.
• Basic English skills for communication with others and technical document reading and writing
• Strong summarization and presentation skills in Chinese and/or English
