Lenovo's Strategy & Sales Enablement team is looking for a passionate, creative, analytical and experienced strategy analyst who loves big data, is curious to explore and unveil insights, and wants to create a business story to impact key business decisions.
Our team plays a key role in driving transformation of our North America sales organization to empower Lenovo to be the technology partner of choice. We deliver clear strategic guidance, insights, enablement and partnerships to optimize productivity and achieve our long-term objectives. Our team owns the end to end insights & strategy that includes:
• collaborating with our strategy directors to bring the relevant data into a central repository to create the single version of truth to monitor sales rep productivity
• creating key metrics, reports and dashboards to monitor business health & productivity
• collaborating with sales leaders to optimize measurements and ensure accuracy of the data
• ad hoc strategic projects to support our growth ambition (e.g., market intelligence, BI/analytics, GTM design)
Responsibilities
Strategic insights
- Conduct market & competitive research to support our NA ISO’s go-to-market strategy and sales performance
- Support executive decision-making with quarterly reporting packages tracking the productivity & effectiveness of our sales force investments
- Support development of business cases or models to evaluate new initiatives, such as sales motions, pricing strategies, or customer programs
Productivity Model
- Support creation of quarterly productivity report (e.g., revenue generation, coverage, org model metrics)
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales Ops, Finance) to ensure data accuracy, metric alignment, and relevant performance insights
- Work with operations team to develop and maintain dashboards (e.g., PPT, Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce CRM) to automate recurring views where possible
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ work experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related quantitative fields
- Minimum four years' experience with no advanced degree
- Experience with strategy function within a company or at a consulting firm
- Proficiency in use of analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Qlik) & methods in a professional setting
