Description and Requirements


The Sustainability Solution Analyst will work closely with the Lenovo sales team, Project Management Office and personnel as needed, technical support and the customer to ensure a smooth handover from solution phase to project planning, initiation and beyond. This position will develop comprehensive, innovative, and cost-effective solutions within the various value recovery initiatives to enable Lenovo’s customers to achieve their business goals while maximizing the valuation of their retiring assets. In addition, this position will also evaluate customer opportunities as presented in, RFPs/RFQs or engagements, from the Services and Hardware Sales teams and use this information to develop solutions to meet the customer’s requirements. This Sustainability Solution Analyst will be responsible for collaborating and communicating creative value recovery service solutions for customers to drive positive value-add, return-on-investments, and lower the total cost of ownership of their assets.  


Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and Lenovo vendors to analyze customer processes and environments and provide value recovery expertise and overall solution recommendations.
  • In collaboration with the Sustainability Solution Designer develop the requirements into architectures & solutions delivered by Lenovo.
  • Educate customers and internal stakeholders on value recovery services.
  • Engage as a trusted advisor on value recovery solutions.
  • Challenge existing processes to ensure delivery of the best solution for the customer.
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge and understanding of certifications, technology, tools and toolsets in the industry.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Business equivalent.
  • Strongly encouraged to have experience in project management, product lifecycle management, customer and vendor contracting.
  • Familiar with IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) industry.
  • Experience with electronic product end of life management.
  • Experience with process improvements across multiple organizations.
  • Strong ability to produce, leverage and interpret big data sets and operationalize for decision making.
  • Highly articulate and professional in both oral and written communication, as well as presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills to achieve desired result.
  • 3+ years’ experience in solution development, contract creation and negotiation, business development, project management and/or services operations experience.

Base gross monthly salary starts from 2100 EUR. The final offer could be, of course, negotiated higher than the advertised minimum - it all depends on your experience! In addition, there is also variable part (a bonus) in value of 12% of your annual earnings.
