Technical Project Manager – AI & Infrastructure Services

Position Overview:

Lenovo is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate AI and infrastructure service initiatives across internal teams, customers, and partners. This role will be responsible for driving internal offering development, managing customer AI-driven projects, supporting strategic partnerships, and ensuring governance for key business management systems (BMS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI, cloud services, and project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Internal Offering Development Projects
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI and infrastructure service offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, roadmaps, and execution strategies.
  • Ensure timely delivery of offerings that align with business objectives.
  • Lead Customer AI-Focused Infrastructure Solutions (AIFS) and Proof-of-Concept (POC) Projects
    • Drive AI and cloud-based proof-of-concept projects for enterprise customers.
    • Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
    • Oversee execution, risk management, and performance evaluation of AI-based projects.
  • Support Partner Initiatives (e.g., AI Innovators Program)
    • Work closely with technology partners to advance AI innovation.
    • Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and partner ecosystems.
    • Ensure alignment with industry trends and emerging AI technologies.
  • Provide Governance and Status Reporting for Business Management Systems (BMS)
    • Establish project governance frameworks and maintain BMS status updates.
    • Track project milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Communicate project progress and risk mitigation strategies to leadership.
  • Support Operational Development Teams (ODTs) as Needed
    • Provide project management oversight for ODTs working on AI and infrastructure initiatives.
    • Ensure alignment between ODT deliverables and broader organizational goals.
    • Facilitate cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, AI, cloud computing, or IT infrastructure.
    • Strong knowledge of AI, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and enterprise IT solutions.
    • Proven track record in leading complex AI/IT projects with multiple stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
    • Experience with partner and ecosystem management in the AI/IT industry.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    Preferred Skills:

    • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
    • Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies and cloud-based POC implementations.
    • Understanding of governance and compliance frameworks in enterprise IT.
