Description and Requirements

Position Overview:

 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Training Manager to join India Customer Engagement Center. The Technical Training Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive technical training programs for our support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for Hiring, assessing training needs, designing effective training modules, and ensuring the continuous development of our technical support professionals.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Training Program Development:

Design, develop, and implement technical training programs tailored to the needs of the support team.

Create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources.

 

Skill Assessment:

Conduct regular assessments to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement within the technical support team.

Collaborate with team leads and managers to understand specific skill requirements for different roles.

Continuous Learning:

 

Establish and foster a culture of continuous learning within the support team.

Provide access to relevant online courses, workshops, and certifications to enhance technical proficiency.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

 

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback.

Modify training strategies based on performance metrics and evolving business needs.

 

Collaboration:

Work closely with technical experts and team leads to ensure that training programs align with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Collaborate with HR to integrate training initiatives with broader employee development programs.

 

Hiring and Onboarding:

Develop and implement onboarding programs for new technical support team members.

Facilitate orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies, values, and support processes.

Documentation:

 

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of training materials, attendance, and performance metrics.

Document changes to training programs and update materials as needed.

 

Leadership and Coaching:

Provide leadership and guidance to the training team, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

Offer coaching and mentorship to support team members seeking additional guidance.

  

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Preferably engineering graduate.

Overall 12+ years of experience with 5+ in a relevant role.

Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs.

Strong understanding of the technical support landscape and industry trends.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to assess training needs and tailor programs to different skill levels.

Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning platforms.

Leadership and team management skills.
