Description and Requirements


Our Workstation team is growing and we are looking for a seasoned professional to own Lenovo’s go-to-market strategy for workstation solutions targeting both the Transportation (automotive, aerospace, and heavy equipment) and manufacturing sectors. Our primary focus is to grow Lenovo’s presence in these market segments via the acquisition and retention of OEMs and their tier 1 supply chains. As the lead for this industry segment you will oversee all aspects of this industry within the Lenovo workstation business unit and be the spokesperson/subject matter expert both within, and external to Lenovo.

You will be a part of a global team, reporting to our Senior Manager Vertical Industries based in North America.

Your responsibilities will Include to:

  • Define the global strategy and go to market plan to drive growth for the Lenovo workstation business within the transportation and manufacturing sectors.
  • Develop product messaging and positioning, industry marketing, technical demonstrations, sales enablement, and competitive analysis tools by geography.
  • Assist GEO marketing leads with their regional programs.
  • Support GEO sales leadership with their acquisition and retention strategies for Lenovo workstations solutions in transportation and manufacturing.
  • Work with other Industry Managers to nurture and manage ISV relationships (e.g., ANSYS, Autodesk, Dassault Systèmes, etc.).
    • Drive partner co-marketing with ISVs to create awareness and leads in transportation and manufacturing.
    • Facilitate workstation certifications.
    • Support GEOs with regional ISV partner activity.
  • Identify key WW industry events targeted at the transportation and manufacturing sectors and manage Lenovo presence at those events.
  • Support sales opportunities with direct customer interaction.
  • Create and manage opportunities for industry-specific solutions and proof of concepts with customers, prospects, ISV, and other technology partners.


Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a global technical, marketing or product management role within the transportation and/or manufacturing sectors is a must
  • Established relationships within the transportation and manufacturing industry at OEMs, tier 1 suppliers and technology ecosystem is an asset.
  • Workstation/server/ PC related solution experience is an asset
  • Professional fluency in English. Japanese, Korean or German are a strong advantage
