Join our HPC team in UK to help solving humanity's greatest challenges as HPC Sales Leader UK & Ireland (UKI)!

Working as HPC Sales Leader UKI, you will be responsible for our HPC revenue and growth in UKI incl. team leadership for our HPC sellers and architects in UK. You will also build and nurture relationships with stakeholders and decision makers of key clients to advance their HPC infrastructure to become even more powerful, while becoming more energy-efficient and sustainable at the same time.

Our team of Lenovo HPC experts will provide you with training on our strategy, solution portfolio, essentials tools and processes, and help you to hone your skills on strategic account management and complex deal leadership. You are part of the UKI HPC team, reporting the HPC Director for UK, Ireland DACH, and France.

What will be your role and responsibilities?

•  You are responsible for the UKI HPC revenue and growth including a set of strategic clients with large and complex deals, where you will be the owner of the relationship up to senior decision maker as well as for the entire sales cycle, from acquisition to closing. This includes solution selection and the complex bid process according to customer and competitive requirements

•  You will be responsible for building and executing the UKI HPC strategy. This includes shaping business strategy, developing plans, analyzing data, and aligning goals to achieve the company's objectives. Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and market research experience are essential and aimed at increasing market penetration of existing products into existing markets, new markets or both.

•  You are in charge of developing, progressing and closing a pipeline of both strategic deals and well as “run-rate HPC transactions”.

• You work closely with the technical Lenovo HPC architects to jointly design & bid winning projects. You collaborate with the global HPC portfolio and development teams to drive client requirements into our future product portfolio.

• You work closely with the extended Lenovo sales teams e.g., account managers and services specialists to achieve common revenue and profit goals.

• You actively participate in weekly team meetings for best practice sharing.

• You are flexible with working from home or from the office, when not travelling to see clients, partners, and colleagues in person. Regular travel to develop and nurture client relationships is part of your role.

• You will be responsible for driving specific UKI HPC focused marketing strategy/activity, including attending key events such a CIUK, ISC and Supercomputing


How should your profile look like?

• Previous client-facing sales experience (3-5 years)

• Previous experience leading large and complex deals (3-5 years)

• Previous experience in datacenter infrastructure sales, preferably HPC (3-5 years)

• Customer-oriented and independent way of working

• Strong skills in prioritization and structuring your own work including complex engagements

• Previous experience leading cross-functional teams to jointly build and bid a complex solution

• Motivated and interested in sales and the IT industry
