Description and Requirements

📋 Overall Description: Qualified candidate will design and author content for product and brand pages for lenovo.com eCommerce Product Marketing team, will create and deliver elegant visual interfaces uses user-centric design principles and provide deliverable content such as wire-frames, site maps, page flow diagrams, comps and working prototypes, throughout the project process. Responsibilities will include developing webpages and troubleshooting the content management system for Lenovo.com. The candidate will be working on several projects simultaneously, participating in peer-reviews and our internal QA process.

🚀 Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product marketing teams, project managers and content writers to design and develop web pages that tell a product story and help customers make a purchase decision.
  • Extend and contribute corporate branding styles to page designs, style guides and graphics.
  • Create design building blocks for global usage.
  • Deliver technically correct design files that adhere to all size, weight, and identity guidelines.
  • Build components & webpages for lenovo.com.
  • Conceive and create design solutions that address both the user’s goals as well as business goals.
  • Highly confident and organized work flow.
  • Create formal documentation for CMS tool and provide dev notes as needed.
  • Exceptional designs for campaigns & events projects, meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations and delivered within timeline.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with team members, sharing lessons learned, research findings and industry best practices.

✅ Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred with minimum of 5 years of web design/development experience, preferably in an eCommerce environment. Please ensure that your submission include either a portfolio link or attached portfolio for manager review.
  • Advanced skill level and up-to-date with the most current Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
  • International design sense and mindset. eCommerce experience is highly desired.
  • Innate understanding of what appeals to different customer segments. Ability to keep up with international design trends.
  • Html, CSS, and Javascript knowledge to build out campaign content/product pages and format correctly in an enterprise CMS environment.
  • Understanding of web structures, navigation flows, and responsive web design including designing graphics for multiple break points and mobile phones.
  • Strong time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills coupled with the ability to take a project from conception through completion with minimal supervision. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to take constructive criticism and feedback on design work.
  • Written and Oral English – Advanced.
