Description and Requirements

As part of Strategic Pricing & Intelligence team under SSG HQ Pricing team, you will be working closely with Pre-Sales, Solution Architects, Offering Development senior executives to standardize DaaS Pricing approach in NA & LA regions. You will also be partnering with external 3rd parties to provide DaaS/DWS Price Benchmarks to assist deal teams with Price-to-win metrics and submitting most optimized price-points to the customer.

 

Responsibilities

 

* Play an important role in creating value for Lenovo while managing profitability and cost optimization for DaaS (Desktop as a Service)/DWS (Digital Workplace Solutions) deals

* Partnering with Services and Solutions Deal Desk team & Solution Architects to provide Digital Workplace Solutions Price Benchmarking.

* Draw insights from external market benchmarking data and share prior to Deal desk approval.

* Recommending pricing strategies that align closely with business priorities and market trends.

* Assessing Cost, Price, Market data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends.

* Preparing and presenting pricing analysis to senior executives, Marketing, and Sales teams to influence outcomes of deal shaping and assist with decision making

* Knowledge of Desktop as a Service (DaaS), Digital Workplace pricing constructs is preferred.

* As a key point of contact for leadership, you will support various aspects of the pursuit lifecycle ensuring Lenovos cost-effectiveness

 

KPIs

 

* Actively work with deal teams to use the costing information in conjunction with knowledge of the deal shape/commercial parameters to help structure a winning proposition for Lenovo and the client

*Provide competitive benchmarks for Digital Workplace Solutions opportunities in a timely manner

* Ensure informed decision making between sales, delivery and Commercial interests to deliver optimal value for both external client and Lenovo

* Deep understanding of latest IT Services market trends across geographies.

* Working and sharing best practices within Central Price Benchmarking & Intelligence team.

 

Education/ Qualification

 

Must Have:

* A bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, finance, economics, or in a related field

* In-depth knowledge of competitive pricing mechanisms and constructs in IT Services industry.

* Proficiency in MS Office suite (especially MS Excel) and associated analysis.

* Able to dig into detail, manage complexity and drive decision making.

* Ability to work in a team-environment and good organizing skills are a must.

 

Desired:

 

* A masters degree in business administration will be preferred.

* Certifications in Pricing and active membership in related associations would be a plus.

 

Work Experience

 

* A minimum of 8yrs experience as a Pricing Professional/Manager in IT Services industry
