■About Organization 
Notebook Product Engineering (Notebook PE) belongs to  Notebook development at Yokohama city, and Notebook PE own products responsibility for ThinkPad products after products are shipped to customers.
Working to solve issues through problem failure analysis and solution delivery about customer problem, technical problem found in factory, problem highlighted through social media like forum, customer review, working for quality improvement through feedback problem cause analysis results and actions.

■Roles and responsibilities
●General work area
  - Solve customer issues and manufacturing issue as products owner.
      Collect information through mail, DB, conference call
      Reproduce fail, investigate problem cause. 
      Develop solution, deliver solution to customers.
  - Feedback issue and problem cause information to related team like development/manufacturing, and as for Lessons and Learned for quality improvement.
  - Co-work with Lenovo and ODM development team, manufacturing team, planning team, service team to proceed software and driver failure analysis, solution delivery.
  - Improve customer satisfaction and product quality proactively by delivering solution through web release, check and provide solution through Lenovo forum.
  - SW ECRB
  - Limitation review
  - Readme review

  - BIOS/EC/Driver Cadence Release
     Cadence arrange, lead
  - Tool (PSRB, ECRB) improvement, new tool request to Tool Dev team
  - BIOS focal point in PE
     Filed issue handling
     BIOS Team I/F   - meeting, communication,

■Must Have – essential
- Programming skills of BIOS, Embedded controller or device drivers.  More than 3 years experiences preferred for PC system firmware or device firmware development
- Excellent problem analysis and solving skills
    Knowledge on Notebook PC BIOS/ firmware, Device driver, at the level she/he can explain what it is & how it works briefly to others
    Problem solving skills for software issues.  Analyze problem and find solution.
- Have interest in various are of PC and challenge working on those areas by obtaining new skill and knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Business English (minimum TOEIC score 600)
- Ordinal Japanese conversation skill if an applicant’s native language is not Japanese
- Logical communication skill with various teams
- Can make good communication with related teams for smooth and efficient co-working.
